Ten Days til Cities and Spectacle in Modern Brazil

There are only ten days until the Urban Network's 2015 Urban Forum, Cities and Spectacle in Modern Brazil.  The conference is bringing experts from Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paolo, London, Princeton University, and Brown University, to name a few, to discuss Brazil's cities and the ways in which spectacle - from Olympic bids to favela tours - are affecting urban identity, practice, and policy.

Urban Network faculty affiliate, Brodwyn Fischer, will also be presenting on "Spectacles of Racial and Political Identity in Recife's Informal City."

The conference is free and open to the public, but please register in advance to guarantee your spot.
