The Urban Network serves graduate students at the University of Chicago through a number of programs.
First, PhD students across disciplines are invited to apply to the Urban Network Doctoral Fellowship, which accepts applications every spring for the following academic year.
Second, students across the university are invited to attend the Urban Workshop (formerly the City, Society and Space Workshop,) a Council on Advanced Studies Workshop that is led by students and supported by the Network. Click here for more information on this year's workshop calendar and speakers.
Lastly, graduate students are also invited to apply to organize or lead an Urban Forum, which are public-facing events that illuminate the university's research for a broader audience. Requests for Proposals for the Urban Forums are issued every winter for the following academic year.
