Scholars

  • Urban Network Scholars

The Urban Network connects scholars across disciplines through its Urban Network Fellows and Faculty Affiliates programs, encouraging collaboration and innovation.

The University of Chicago Urban Network extends the University's tradition of excellence in urban scholarship through several programs that support scholars and faculty at all stages of their careers:

  • Faculty Research Affiliates - Creating a network of established scholars working on urban research topics from a variety of fields and disciplines
  • Urban Network Doctoral Fellows - Offering a yearlong writing and professionalization experience for up to ten University of Chicago doctoral students whose research focuses on urban issues.
  • Urban Network Undergraduate Fellows - Supporting Chicago-centric undergraduate thesis research in partnership with the University Community Service Center's Chicago Studies program.

For more information on becoming a Research Affiliate of Urban Network Fellow, contact Anne Dodge at acdodge@uchicago.edu.
